All are welcome to visit our meetinghouse property on Sunday from 1-3 pm to see our native plant landscaping and the solar panels we added in 2020. We are located at 660 Spring Street, Herndon, VA.
We gradually converted what was conventional lawn and foundation plantings into a native plant demonstration area over a five-year period, learning a lot along the way about what works and what doesn’t, and what is easy to maintain and what takes more work. The only non-native plants remaining are some turf grass that serves as a wide path and a few Japanese azaleas.
