Herndon Friends annually collaborates with Bikes for the World to collect used bikes and/or bike parts in the Herndon area for distribution to needy communities.
If you have bikes to donate, feel free to donate at the Herndon Friends Meeting House on September 28 at noon. An additional donation of $10 is appreciated to cover shipping costs.
We are also looking for volunteers to assist breaking down the bikes for distribution! If you would like to help, we will be at the meeting house from noon to 3pm to collect and break down bikes.
